Nut Tuggers

Between moving into a new apartment and the booming bike shop business, I haven't found time to post about this lovely new thing I received in the mail. These chain tensioners, or "nut tuggers", are made by Home Brewed Components of San Diego County, California. All products are made to order in some sort of basement machine shop.

The tensioners are pretty cool. I expected to receive only one but got two. They're well made and look great. The simple, minimal design of them is nice and they seem to work with some semi-horizontal forward facing road dropouts too. I ordered the long size rather than short and they are almost too long, but I suppose these are more versatile and allow for different gearings. The integrated bottle opener is a nice touch and allows you to start the party anywhere you go!

Order stuff here!
