Field Notes







The new semester of class called for a fresh new memo book. I prefer small notebooks to the large traditional type. They're easy to take anywhere with you and they fit in your pocket. These notebooks from FIELD NOTES are perfect. They're a great size and come with graph paper, which is nice for sketching out designs or taking notes. FIELD NOTES also uses Futura typeface, which is a favorite of mine. Print nerds might appreciate the list of "specifications" too. It's all the cheesy little details that make these awesome.

The notebooks I received are from their County Fair Limited Edition series. Each 3-pack highlights an individual state. I requested the great state of Illinois. The back of the notebook features "a bevy of meticulously-researched state facts and figures."
