Another great brand of pocket-sized notebook is Moleskine. They're thicker than the Field Notes notebooks and feature a hardcover with elastic strap and many options, but like Field Notes, they do some neat custom work. This short video shows the process of screenprinting on the notebooks for their custom edition series.
