Well, the BONKFEST 100 came and went. It was a fantastic ride to say the least. Five of us started and only four survived. Jay already did an excellent write-up about it on his blog and so it seems pointless for me to rewrite it, so check that out if you're interested.
We all had a good time and the weather was decent. it was great to ride with good friends and meet a couple new ones. The roads were perfect and there was no shortage of good jokes. I haven't laughed so much in one day for a while. Credit goes to Ari for the excellent route. If you missed out, I am sorry! Also, a big thanks to Jamie, Adi and Jill for the great food and drinks waiting for us upon return.

You damn straight 'merica is the great place to be. Also the midwest is full of great places to ride. Desolate roads, great yards to observe and an amazing array of mutts willing to give a decent chase.
