The Darrien recently graduated with her BFA in photography and held her BFA show a few weeks ago. (I finally got around to uploading/editing the photos.) She decided to host the show in her house and transform her garage into a gallery, which turned out to be awesome. It was quite different form your typical art show, and definitely a lot more fun. There was great homemade food and drink to be had, with custom screen-printed signage, and plenty of Genesee to go around! At one point, there must have been about 60 people packed into the house. Even The Llama showed up! I realized how well the venue complimented her senior project, which involved taking a photo every hour of the day over a certain period of time. Much like the photos, the show itself was like taking a look into someone else's life. Darrien really put in a lot of work and it turned out perfect. Lots of fun. Great job! I'm proud of ya!
