I think it might be time for a new notebook. From what I can tell, these look like they may be my new favorite.
"Linen hard cover Michigan-made notebook featuring high-quality construction, acid-free paper sourced from sustainably-managed North American forests, elastic closure, and cardboard packaging wrap with pop-out ruler and bookmark."
Available in a variety of sizes and colors here.
"Edwards Brothers Malloy—a Michigan-based company whose history dates back to 1893—manufactures high-quality journals and books using a balance of advanced machinery and skilled technicians. Their process begins with sourcing raw materials of the highest-possible quality—much of it from sustainably-maintained American forests—and ensuring each stage of production meets stringent specifications. Although the company’s machinery has evolved over the years, what hasn’t changed is the use of skilled craftspeople throughout the process—people who don’t just run machines, but whose experience and skill provides them with a nuanced understanding and tactile awareness of precisely how each inch of paper should look and feel. It’s ultimately this close attention to craft at each stage of production that sets their finished product apart."
