Monday Night Polo and the La Kruze Fuji
We've been starting to get the polo action in more consistently now that the semester has come to an end, and turnouts have been pretty decent. Jakey La Kruze stopped by while out for a kruize on his fixed gear Fuji Professional. He received the old frameset, with a few other parts, from Ari and built it up as a fixed gear road bike. The rear wheel is the Otter's old White Industries ENO hub laced to a Velocity Chukker rim. He got a front rim to match, laced to a Surly hub (bomb proof wheelset for a road bike!). The Sugino track cranks are a perfect fit and the whole bike looks quite lovely.
