New Shop Apron

DSC_0142.jpg

Got a nice package in the mail the other day from Hand Eye Supply in Portland. I wanted a new apron with some extra pockets to wear around the shop, and so I ended up snatching this one, made by Chicago-based Universal Overall Co.

It's made from a robust cotton material with a nice herringbone pattern. Classy as hell! Features an upper swing pocket, which allows for the pocket to move when you bend over so ya don't spill your stuff. Also has a nice spacious lower pocket. At $20 it's one of the most affordable quality aprons out there.

The upper pocket has a nice narrow division, perfect for a couple allen wrenches, or perhaps a Field Notes #2 pencil, while the larger pocket is just the right size for a nice Field Notes notebook maybe? Alright, this is probably the nerdiest posting I've ever written on this blog. I'm done...
