Ascari Bicycles

I don't believe I have ever seen as much dedication to the traditional/vintage style, attention to detail, or historical accuracy in any modern day custom build as that displayed by Ascari Bicycles out of Portland. Some very unique stuff coming out of their workshop. I'm afraid that, if I owned one of these, I may actually be too afraid to ride it...

Cielo/Tanner Goods Collaboration

When two fantastic companies join forces, something great is bound to happen. Alright, that's actually not always true, but in this case, something cool happened. Chris King's frame-building co. Cielo, and Portland-based leather works co. Tanner Goods teamed up for this killer build, complete with leather/waxed canvas bags and leather mudflaps. I'd love to get my hands on one of those bags. I like that the frame bag incorporates a strap that allows it to be carried when off the bike. Very clever...
