New Bikes at the Shop

North Central Cyclery is now an official dealer of All-City bicycles and I'm really excited about it. I own an All-City Nature Boy and can't say enough good about it. I believe they are an awesome brand that makes very well-designed, aesthetically beautiful, and really quite affordable bicycles. We've got the Spacehorse, Macho Man, and Nature Boy in stock right now ready to be test ridden.

Oh, we're also a Jones dealer now too. We've been busy.

Adventure Cyclist - The Spacehorse

I love the All-City Spacehorse. I don't own one, but The Ross does, and he loves it too. It's such a well-designed, versatile, tough, cool-looking bike with a lot of nice details. If you're going to own one bike, and plan to beat the crap out of it, the Spacehorse is an excellent option. We've got one of the complete bikes sitting in the shop lookin' real pretty. Come check it out.

T.J.'s Custom Map Case.

Our dear friend T.J. rode 127mi from Bloomington to DeKalb, Illinois the other day. In anticipation of getting lost in the rain without mobile device reception, he built himself this waterproof map case out of PVC piping.



It is lightweight, watertight, and fits perfectly inside of his Revelate Tanglebag. Very clever, T.J. I just had to share this.



Here's a better photo of his setup for the ride: A fully loaded All-City Spacehorse, with Revelate Tanglebag and Gastank (all of which can be found at our shop), as well as a Velo Orange saddle bag. He made use of his GoPro camera too, and I look forward to seeing some photos/video of his adventure.
