Both Adriana and I recently found ourselves with an excess of free time due to the season and so we decided to take a brief furlough to Milwaukee. There we visited the Milwaukee Art Museum, which is an awesome place with awesome architecture by Santiago Calatrava.
We also stopped by the Sprecher Brewery for a tour and some samples.
This was a cool place and they make some delicious beverages. All of their sodas are great and they have a wide variety of interesting brews. Their Cherry Krick Lambic was among the most interesting. It was extremely sour and probably not something I would choose to drink, but I would highly recommend trying it just for the experience. My favorite was probably the Black Bavarian, which happens to be the brew that started it all. Oh, and excellent root beer.
