Rode a metric last Thursday with Ari to Cherry Valley from Sycamore and back.
The roads we took were excellent and it was a bit weird to be out in the daylight. We left at 4:30pm and brought lights for the ride home.
Our shadows cast by the evening sun made it appear as though we were riding a tandem bike. Maybe that would have been a good idea...
The sun was warm, but had set by the time we arrived in Cherry Valley.
We stopped at the Cherry Valley Cafe for some hot coffee and food to warm our cold bodies. The place was full of very old people who probably thought we came from another planet.
This tuna melt and french fries tasted incredibly good. We hung out for a while, absorbing some of the local culture. Seemed like everyone in that cafe had grown up together. On the way home it got extremely cold and windy. The stars were amazing, yet there seemed to be no moon and unfortunately no werewolf either.
We'll find him soon though, don't worry.
