For those of you living outside of the midwest, here is proof that spring weather has actually begun to show here in northern Illinois. Last Sunday was around 60°F, and we went out to Busse Woods and cruised around in the sun. It felt good.
Many more photos and some words about my new handlebars after the jump. Click below.

I've been receiving many questions lately about the handlebars that I recently put on my Steamroller. They are made by Velo Orange and they call them the Milan bar. I absolutely love everything about these bars. The angles are all just right, the backsweep is perfect, the rise feels just right, they're very inexpensive, and they look nice too. I wrapped them up with some Brooks bar tape and they're so comfortable that they actually make me want to ride this bike more often than any of my others.
These bars are almost identical to a bar made by Bontrager, called the Satellite, which you can find for sale at the shop (we can order the VO bars too). Honestly, the only real reason I chose these over the Bontragers is because I liked the minimal branding on the Velo Orange bar, and I guess looks sort of matter to me. Velo Orange actually just came out with a version without the rise called the Postino, which may be another good option.
Photos of the bar from a couple other angles below:
Y'all bonk off now.
